SURCO is a brand that many players and carrom enthusiasts trust and believe in for over more than 60 years. The first board I played on was a SURCO but unfortunately out-pocket. Handed over by my uncles to me and it has a year imprinted on it - dates back to 1975. Come to think of it, it's almost 40 years old. I remember those days we used to apply Johnson's baby powder, hair cream and even wood polish (Shelly's) but NEVER "bearings or disco powder". Well honestly, it's the dumbest applicator ever and to imagine some still use it? You be the judge of it. I'll type that in detail in another posting sometime soon.
